Leo Van Broeck is invited by ILIV, a knowledge platform on “housing, feeling at home & the importance of a home”, for a debate on housing for the future, following the publication of the ILIV-report “Generation Y”. That GenY-report is the outcome of a study on the perspective of adolescent people concerning housing and the contemporary tensions between their dreams and the urban reality.
The evening is closed by the award ceremony of the “Future Living Award”, a competition for written work on future living, organised by ILIV in collaboration with the postgraduate department for Trendwatching of HOGent. The president of the jury is Jörgen Oosterwaal, chief editor of Knack magazine.
