The “Good Living” Report leading the way to new ambitious urban development regulations in Brussels-Capital Region has been published! Have a look at the result of intense work to create an urbanistic regulation oriented towards resilience and quality of life for all Brusseleirs. This Expert Commission was chaired by Oana Bogdan and composed of the following belgian experts: Kristiaan Borret, Vanessa Mosquera, Jens Aerts, Anne Ledroit, Sven Grooten, Benoit Moritz, Katelijne Franssens, Thierry Baneton, Hélène Rillaerts, Luc Eeckhout, Pierre-Alain Franck. The commission was appointed by the Secretary of State for Urbanism Pascal Smet and supported by Urban Brussels and the Cabinet of Pascal Smet, the project was coordinated by Antoine Crahay (City Tools). Graphic design by Esther Le Roy and aquarelle by Batiste Museo (BOGDAN & VAN BROECK).
The Expert Committee has opted for an evolution from a currently defensive Regional Urban Regulation aimed at “making impossible what is not desirable” to a proactive Regional Urban Regulation aimed at “making possible everything that is desirable and will be desirable”.
